It’s advertised as “Ireland’s best pennyworth guaranteed” in nearby Talbot Lane, but the warehouse front on Marlborough Place just goes with this big, bright painted signage, carrying on around the building into the lane.
Marlborough Street doesn’t really encourage lingering to daydream, and yet every time I pass the sign, it suggests a much sunnier, happier escape than it’s offering.
