Built Dublin is a blog about modern and contemporary architecture in Dublin, Ireland. It’s about the things that are beautiful, interesting, important or strange in Dublin’s built environment. In 2012, Built Dublin won the Best Arts & Culture award at Blog Awards Ireland.

Lisa Cassidy is writing, photographing and editing everything you see here, unless otherwise noted. I graduated from UCD School of Architecture in 2011 with a B.Arch, and completed an M.Arch.Sc by research in 2013. I now work in software (and still love buildings). I have written about buildings and cities for publications including Totally Dublin, The Irish Times, Set, and A10. Occasionally, I create and deliver architectural walking tours, including Open House Dublin 2012, Dublin Theatre Festival 2013, the Irish Architecture Foundation @ IMMA, and private groups. Any mistakes or opinions here are my own.
