Here’s one more detail from the Samuel Beckett Theatre in Trinity. At the peak of the tower’s roof, there’s a small sign spelling out T-H-E-A-T-R-E in capital letters.

It appears to have neon tubing and electrical wiring, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen it lit up – the ‘E’ seems to have lost its neon, too. The sky is so bright in this part of the city that it’s probably unnecessary to illuminate the sign, as it’s easy to read as a silhouette.
