On the Mespil Road/canal side of Mespil Estate, which was featured earlier this week, a small detail caught my eye. It’s not architectural, but down to the residents or landscapers. Utility boxes on the site of Elm House have been used in this small patio garden as if they’re part of a terrace, and by coincidence, they’re a similar tone to the terracotta of the pots and troughs. Very sweet.
