Though it’s been five years since Aon MacDonagh Boland moved out of Lansdowne Road (relocating to James Joyce Street) and the building was taken over by the IRFU, there’s still traces of the previous sign on the brickwork.
It’s maddening that the two signs don’t quite align, but the ghost of the old sign is quite nice, like the painted signs around the city with faded names of long-gone businesses.
