McNally’s is on the corner of Great Denmark Street and Hill Street in the north inner city. The lemon yellow and black chequerboard tiles are sweet, but the highlight is the ‘FANCY GOODS’ sign projecting from the corner, proudly holding out while every other shop has switched to advertising less evocative things.
